ABSTRACT:
A vine stake having a sharp point at its lower end for penetrating soil adjacent to a growing vine, a solid flat upper end and along the exterior of its body, a plurality of protruding nodules or ruffles upon which vine-tieing ropes or straps can be rested. Desirably the vine stake comprises a hollow core below a solid flat upper end and is adapted for sub-irrigating vine roots by containing an ingress hole on the exterior of its body through which water or fertilizer solution or suspension can be introduced and also a plurality of egress holes in the exterior of its lower portion through which the water or liquid fertilizer can exit below the soil.
