ABSTRACT:
A vibration insulating member fitting method includes the steps of: positioning and wrapping a sheet-like vibration insulating member2around a shaft3having an air suction/exhaust portion5; holding the sheet-like vibration insulating member2onto the shaft3by air suction; and inserting the shaft3that sucks the sheet-like vibration insulating member2by the air suction into a hollow cylinder13of a photosensitive drum1to stop the air suction, causing the sheet-like vibration insulating member2to be tightly fitted onto the inner wall surface of the photosensitive drum1by a restoring force of the sheet-like vibration insulating member2. A vibration insulating member recovering method includes the steps of: inserting a shaft3having an air suction portion into a sheet-like vibration insulating member2fitted on an inner wall surface of a hollow cylinder13of a photosensitive drum1; starting air suction to suck and hold the sheet-like vibration insulating member2onto the shaft3; detaching the sheet-like vibration insulating member2from the inner wall surface of the hollow cylinder13of the photosensitive drum1; and taking the shaft3out of the hollow cylinder13of the photosensitive drum1, with the sheet-like vibration insulating member2being sucked and held on the shaft3.
