ABSTRACT:
An apparatus including an image sensing system which receives light from an object and further outputs a video signal; a reproducing system which reproduces a video signal recorded on a recording medium; a selection circuit which selectively outputs either the video signal provided by the image sensing system or the video signal provided by the reproducing system; and a vibration compensation circuit which compensates picture vibrations of the video signal selected by the selection circuit. With this arrangement, it is possible to effectively avoid picture vibrations associated with video signals provided by the reproducing system and by the image sensing system, and thus it is possible to obtain excellent quality of pictures.
