ABSTRACT:
A vibration absorber for assembling a vibrating element and a non-vibrating lement has an intermediate plate fixed between two parts of an elastomeric material placed between two plates linked by a tubular cross-piece. The absorber is made in two halves each formed from a rigid tubular fastening provided with an end flange and a ring in elastomeric material surrounding the fastening and having a plurality of projections or ribs on its surface removed from the flange. A brace acts on the fastenings across their tubular parts in order to cause the projections or ribs to engage with both sides of the intermediate plate.
