An elevation conveyor5includes a turntable17and a roller conveyor18. The roller conveyor18is supported onto the turntable17. A turntable controller7turns the turntable17so that the roller conveyor18matches with a carrying direction of a conveyor rail for receiving or delivering a load and then drives the conveyor rail and the roller conveyor18to receive or deliver an FOUP8. An elevation conveyor5is held in a cable20ainstalled in an elevation space9through a coupling member20bof a cableveyor20, and can freely elevate and stop at a port21installed on each floor while being interlocked with motion of the cableveyor20caused by reciprocating circulation of the cableveyor20in a vertical direction by an elevation conveyor controller4.
