ABSTRACT:
A lithium ion battery11is connected in parallel to a lead acid battery9charged with electric power generated by a generator2. The lithium ion battery11has internal resistance smaller than internal resistance of the lead acid battery9and being charged with the electric power generated by the generator2. An ECM6supplies an electric power generation command value based on a running state of a vehicle, and an ECU7controls the generator2for electric power generation by supplying the electric power generation command voltage to the generator2.
