In a rolling bearing21, a plurality of balls (rolling elements)124are arranged in an annular fashion, the balls124so arranged are held by inner and outer bearing rings121, 122, some of the plurality of balls124are arranged along a pitch circle having a primary pitch circle diameter D1so as to form a primary ball row127, while the remaining of the plurality of balls are arranged along a pitch circle having a secondary pitch circle diameter D2so as to form a secondary ball row128, and the secondary pitch circle diameter D2is made larger than the primary pitch circle diameter D1. The secondary ball row128is disposed radially outwards of the primary ball row127in such a manner as to overlap thereabove.
