ABSTRACT:
A support assembly for stationarily securing an automobile or similar vehicle in an elevated, substantially level position on a floor surface. The assembly includes a pair of bench structures adapted for rigid positioning and spaced parallel orientation beneath a vehicle whereby each bench structure is transverse to the vehicle body and within the area defined by the forward and rear wheels of the vehicle. Each bench structure has a rigid crossbeam extending between A-frame pedestals, body clamping devices adjustably secured on the upward face of the crossbeam, and means for securement of the benches in working position.
