ABSTRACT:
A vehicle steering apparatus comprises a rotation transmission mechanism4which connects a first shaft3connected to an operating member2with a second shaft5connected to vehicle wheels9so as to enable the rotation to be transmitted. An actuator61rotatably drives one of a plurality of rotation transmission elements in the rotation transmission mechanism4. The control device65has a steady control mode in which the actuator61is controlled such that the rotation speed of one of the rotation transmission elements becomes equal to the determined rotation speed of the first shaft3. The rotation transmission ratio becomes 1 when the rotation speed of one of the rotation transmission elements becomes equal to the rotation speed of the first shaft3.
