ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to a vehicle seat whose frame is formed by a shell made from moulded plastic material.
This shell is formed from two half-shells, one for the sitting portion 1 and one for the seat back 4 and these two half-shells comprise complementary slide elements 10-13 adapted to slide against each other and centered on the same transverse horizontal axis disposed in the vicinity of the pivoting axis of the hips of the person sitting in the seat, these elements being associated with a mechanism 18, 19 for adjusting and locking their mutual sliding positions.
