ABSTRACT:
In connection with a pair of pivotally connected articulating booms there is a pair of double-acting hydraulic cylinders which control the vertical pulling of well pipe, such that a boom assembly in conjuction with an improved winch assembly willgenerate at least a 1500 pound perpendicular pulling force to a vertical height of at least 23.5 feet. This is done with a mini hoist, releasably mounted upon a hydraulically self-propelled 4.times.4 vehicle. The entire weight of the mini hoist is less than 1500 pounds and in the collapsed stage can fit within a box truck or on a pickup truck.
