A headlamp in which a frame member50is supported on a lamp body14in a vertically swingable fashion, and a lighting device unit20is supported on said frame member50in a horizontally swingable fashion. A control unit108controls the circular movement of said frame member50and said lighting device unit20in accordance with vehicle running conditions. With such a construction, a beam emitted from said lighting device unit20may be vertically and horizontally varied in its direction in accordance with vehicle running conditions.
