During traveling a vehicle, an on-vehicle unit control circuit22transmits regularly a mobile unit verification encryption code stored in a storage part23of an on-vehicle unit2to a mobile unit1; a transmission circuit10of the mobile unit1replies a response signal to the on-vehicle unit2every time the verification code is received; and the control circuit22of the on-vehicle unit2updates and stores vehicle environmental information in the storage part23upon receiving the response signal, and if the on-vehicle unit2cannot receive any response signal from the mobile unit1, a driver is notified with display lamp53, hazard lamp54, or alarm buzzer55that the response signal has not been received.
