ABSTRACT:
A variable stator vane assembly10where two downwardly inclined engagement faces30are provided on the top of the stator vane upper stem14, extending for part of the width thereof. A pair of projections36with inwardly inclined surfaces38are provided on the underside of the lever arm16. The surfaces38are only engageable with the faces30in one axial alignment, and otherwise the lever arm16will be raised relative to the stator vane12to clearly indicate incorrect mounting thereon.
