ABSTRACT:
A method and apparatus for the objective analysis of human balance reactions involving a pivotable platform and a variably positionable viscuous damping device which provides a known resistance to angular displacement of the platform. Parameters of movement of the platform such as differential weight and angular velocity for varying resistances are recorded as a measure of the subject's balance and motor skills.
