ABSTRACT:
Two-dimensional optical data is transferred at a variable rate through an tical delay module formed by spatial light modulators of the ferroelectric liquid crystal type interconnected in series for data transmission by a beam splitter through which laser radiation is introduced. Operation of the light modulators is controllably interrelated to control the variable delayed transfer rate of the module.
