ABSTRACT:
A variable mass cap20for a shock imparting implement grip has a butt element22connected to a tubular portion24constructed to receive a selected mass26, 28. The tubular portion24fits snugly within a recess34of a body32, and is retained therein by the engagement of an annular ridge36with a first annular groove30disposed in an outer surface of the tubular portion24. In an alternate embodiment, threaded portion31is received by and engaged by a corresponding threaded recess34. The cap20is mechanically secured to the body32for providing a grip with a variable mass.
