ABSTRACT:
An improvement in a rotary vee device that includes relative rotational and reciprocal motion between the interior walls of the cylinder and the exterior walls of the pistons characterized by each piston having first flow areas defined on its periphery and a first fluid flow passageway; each of the first fluid flow passageways in communication with the interior of its respective cylinder above its respective piston and with its respective first flow areas; and each cylinder wall having intake ports and discharge ports located at predetermined locations. The ports are connected with respective passageways for respective intake and discharge flows of a fluid when a respective port is rotatably and reciprocally brought into communication with its flow area on its piston as respective relative rotational and reciprocal motion is effected between respective pistons and cylinders and there is effected a plurality of cycles, each cycle comprising an intake flow followed by closure of an intake port, pressure exerted on said fluid, opening of a discharge port, flow and discharge of a fluid from the interior of the cylinder and closure of the discharge port.
