ABSTRACT:
A low current density, fused salt electrolyte method for depositing passivating metals upon graphite. The passivating metals are applied at 50-100 milliamperes per cm.sup.2 for 2-10 minutes followed by further deposition at 5-25 milliamperes per cm.sup.2 in an inert fused salt electrolyte bath.
