ABSTRACT:
In a vacuum circuit breaker of the type comprising coil electrodes for producing longitudinal magnetic flux and contacts made of an Ag-WC sintered alloy, the intensity of the magnetic field is made to be higher than 50 gausses/I.sub.B.
