ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to the use of certain vitamin D analogues for the treatment of acne. The analogues have only moderate activity on the calcium metabolism when compared to 1,25-(OH).sub.2 D.sub.3, but retain the ability to activate receptors for 1,25-(OH).sub.2 D.sub.3 not associated with calcium absorption or bone calcium mobilization.
