ABSTRACT:
There are described triazine derivatives of the formula I ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 independently of one another are each C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 -alkyl which is unsubstituted or monosubstituted by C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 -cycloalkyl, or mono- or polysubstituted by halogen, or is C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 - cycloalkyl which is unsubstituted or mono- or polysubstituted by halogen, or one of the substituents R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 is also halogen or --NR.sub.4 R.sub.5, in which R.sub.4 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 -alkyl and R.sub.5 is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 -alkyl, monochloroacetyl or dichloroacetyl. The triazine derivatives are used for the protection of maize and sorghum plants against the harmful effects of herbicidal chloroacetanilides and chloroacetamides.
