ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to the use of chiral sulfamic acids as resolving agents, the sulfamic acid having the formula (R1,R2)N—SO3H, wherein: R1and R2, being the same or different, represent a hydrogen atom or a C1-C30linear, branched or cyclic (hetero)-aliphatic or (hetero)-aromatic group, provided that R1and R2are not both hydrogen and that at least one of the R1and R2groups is chiral. Further, methods for resolving enantiomeric mixtures are disclosed.
