ABSTRACT:
The present invention is a process for reversibly absorbing acid gases, such as CO.sub.2, H.sub.2 S, SO.sub.2, HCN and the like from gas mixtures. The gas mixture containing one or more of these acid gases is contacted with a hydrated salt of the composition
