ABSTRACT:
Described is the use of the genus of compounds defined according to the structure: ##STR1## hereinafter termed "norbornyl esters" wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 represents methyl or hydrogen with the proviso that at least one or R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 is hydrogen for augmenting or enhancing the aroma or taste of smoking tobacco compositions and smoking tobacco articles.
