ABSTRACT:
Described is a process for augmenting or enhancing the aroma of a detergent comprising the step of intimately admixing with a solid or liquid detergent base from 0.01% up to 0.5% by weight of at least one cyclic chemical compound having a structure: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and methyl; R.sub.2 is C.sub.3 -C.sub.4 alkyl or alkenyl; and R.sub.5 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 acyl and wherein one of the dashed lines is a carbon-carbon single bond and the other of the dashed lines is a carbon-carbon double bond.
