ABSTRACT:
The use, as anticorrosion agents, of alkenylsuccinic acid half-amides of the formulae ##STR1## in which R denotes C.sub.6 -C.sub.12 -alkenyl and K denotes a proton or an ammonium ion of the formula NHR.sub.1 R.sub.2 R.sub.3 and R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are identical or different and denote hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 -alkyl, 2-hydroxyethyl or 2-hydroxypropyl.
