ABSTRACT:
As a curing catalyst of epoxy resins, superacid salts of an N,N'-di- or N,N',N'-trisubstitued urea, the urea component of which is produced by reacting an organic isocyanate and a primary or secondary amine, at least one of which is monofunctional, are soluble in conventional organic solvents compatible with epoxy resins and catalyze the cationic polymerization reaction of epoxy resins at room temperature.
