ABSTRACT:
A process is provided wherein synthesis gas (H.sub.2 +CO) is used to convert olefins to methylated saturates embodying hydroformylation followed by hydrogenation. Suitable feedstocks include FCC light cycle oil, catalytically dewaxed products, coker liquids, shale oil and pyrolysis gasoline.
