ABSTRACT:
A novel unsaturated polyester resin composition comprising an unsaturated alkyd and a crosslinkable vinyl monomer, said unsaturated alkyd being a modified unsaturated alkyd obtained by reacting a polybasic acid with a polyhydric alcohol in the presence of a cyclopentadiene-type oil having a viscosity at 25.degree. C. of 50 to 50,000.
