ABSTRACT:
Novel unsaturated esters having utility as cross-linking agents and in the formation of polymers are prepared by reacting a diene with a cyclic alkylene carbonate in the presence of a catalyst comprising a zero valent nickel-phosphine complex at a temperature from about 50.degree. C. to about 200.degree. C.
