An undergarment is provided, e.g., a slip, especially for women. The undergarment includes a blank made of a textile material with edgings at the waist and the leg openings, wherein in each case the edgings comprise a flat, two-layered tubular elastic band, which is fastened with an adhesive layer to the left side of the textile material of the undergarment, facing the body.
