ABSTRACT:
Disclosed is a cathode cup for X-ray tubes which is manufactured in two pieces so that the filament can be set before the upper channels are added, thereby, simplifying accurate setting of the filament and minimizing the likelihood of causing scratches or nicks in the outer surface of the cup.
