ABSTRACT:
A tuning fork wherein a tuning fork vibrator is supported on a damping member mounted in a housing and having such characteristics that it will cancel the (1/2)f.sub.0 of spurious response of the tuning fork vibrator without impeding the normal vibration of the tuning fork vibrator, whereby the size of the tuning fork can be minimized.
