ABSTRACT:
Tungsten-halogen lamps operating at temperatures above 250.degree. C. which contain a mixture of phosphine, hydrogen, bromine and inert gas have been found to have superior life and lumen maintenance when the atomic ratio of phosphorus to bromine in the lamp is in the range of from 0.4-2.5.
