A tubular golf shaft extending device comprising a tubular member which is fabricated of steel or graphite and which has an upper open end and a lower open end. The exterior diameter of the member is essentially the same as the exterior diameter of the upper end of a golf club shaft. The length of the member is about 3 1/2 inches whereby the majority of the member may be positioned as an extension to extend beyond the upper end of the shaft. Also included is an adhesive which is located between the upper end of the shaft and the lower end of the member to form an adhesive bond therebetween. A grip is positioned over the member and the upper extent of the shaft.
