ABSTRACT:
An antibody was raised against a synthetic 27 per peptide (ProEP2-1) blockedT. bruceiand ProEP2-1-induced apoptosis in human brain vascular endothelial cells (HBVEC). The use of this and similar blocking antibodies have use both as diagnostic agents and in treatment to prevent damage arising from infection.
