ABSTRACT:
A portable scaffold in sections to be secured to the top of a pick-up bed sidewall. The scaffold has a lower section with a base to be secured to the top edge of the sidewall, upstanding vertical posts and cross members between the posts. An upper section, similar to the lower section, is hinged to the top of the vertical posts so that it may swing from a hanging down storage position to a vertical positon which a sleeve over the aligned posts couples the upper and lower sections together. Cross braces add rigidity to the erected scaffold. The upper scaffold section can also be supported by separate adjustable braces in a horizontal or other intermediate positions as it rotates about the hinge.
