ABSTRACT:
Compounds and methods of modulating the activity of P-glycoproteins are disclosed. The method utilizes compounds derived fromErythroxylum pervillei.The compounds overcome multidrug resistance and can be used therapeutically to enhance performance of therapeutic drugs, like chemotherapeutic drugs and antibiotics.
