ABSTRACT:
An object of the present invention is to provide a trolling device which can reduce the operational force of a trolling lever while the oil pressure setting of a marine gear is raised to increase the capacity of a transmission torque. The trolling device has a pressure reducing valve23for reducing clutch oil pressure and a low speed valve22for adjusting the spring force of a pilot spring24of the pressure reducing valve23in conjunction with a trolling lever25, the low speed valve22having a protrusion22awhich extends inside a coil spring constituting the pilot spring24to the side of the pressure reducing valve23and comes into contact with the pressure reducing valve23at least when forward and reverse clutches are fully engaged, the protrusion22ahaving a drain oil passage22cwhich comes into communication with an orifice23cwhen in contact with the pressure reducing valve23during trolling and discharges drain oil from the orifice23c.
