ABSTRACT:
A triphenylamine derivative, a charge-transporting material comprising the triphenylamine derivative, and an electrophotographic photoreceptor containing a charge-transporting layer comprising the triphenylamine derivative are disclosed, wherein the triphenylamine derivative is represented by the following general formula (1): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, and R.sup.5 may be the same or different and each represents a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group, an alkoxy group, a halogen atom, or an aryl group which may have a substituent, or R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 and/or R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 may be taken together to form a ring, and n represents 0 or 1.
