Antifungal and antibacterial compounds, compositions containing the same, and method of using the same comprising triorganotin 5-nitro-2-furoates represented by Formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R, which may be the same or different, is an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aryl group or an aralkyl group, as the active ingredient.
