For a trigger safety device100for firearms comprising a trigger110which is adapted for rotary reciprocation about a fulcrum111and whose free end is protected by a trigger guard120, accidental firing is prevented in that a safety slide130is mounted on the trigger guard120for reciprocal displacement between a first end position122and a second end position123such that said trigger110is freely pivotal in a first end position122of the safety slide130and is blocked in a second end position123of the safety slide130respectively.
