ABSTRACT:
A tridirectional inverter is disclosed which converts power from the single source into two different widely types of power outputs. This conversion s done by utilizing a magnetic element, i.e., a transformer, alternatively as a filter and as a voltage changing transformer. The function that the magnetic element provides is accomplished by selecting the frequency of the signal that is applied to the magnetic element.
