ABSTRACT:
A triazine derivative represented by the general formula: ##STR1## or the general formula: ##STR2## (wherein X.sup.1 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or an alkoxyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, Z represents an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom, R.sup.1 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atom, and R.sup.2 represents a halogen atom, an alkylthio group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or an alkoxyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms).
This invention also provides a process for efficiently preparing said triazine derivative and a herbicide containing said triazine derivative as a herbicidally effective component.
