ABSTRACT:
There are disclosed triaryl phosphate ester functional fluids, such as lubricants and hydraulic fluids, which contain as the oxidatively stable component, a mixed tertiary-butylphenyl/phenyl phosphate containing about 15 to 60 percent by weight mono- and di-t-butylphenyl radicals.
