ABSTRACT:
Disclosed herein are improved, water-soluble compounds of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R and R' are each alkyl groups containing from 1 to 6 carbon atoms and R" is hydrogen or an alkyl group of 1 to 6 carbon atoms, said compounds forming clear solutions with no side reaction products present. A process for the preparation of the above compounds comprises reacting 2 moles of at least a mono- or dialkylamine with one mole CS.sub.2, in water, and within a reaction chamber which is preferably closed, for a period of time sufficient to cause the pressure therein to fall below normal atmospheric pressure.
