ABSTRACT:
A process for the preparation of di- or tri-substituted aluminum salts of carboxyl group-containing, pharmaceutically effective compounds which comprises reacting up to three types of carboxyl group-containing, pharmaceutically effective compounds with an organic aluminum compound expressed by the following formula; ##EQU1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2, which may be the same or different, stand for an aliphatic, alicyclic or aromatic hydrocarbon residue having up to 10 carbon atoms, and R.sub.3 stands for a hydrocarbon residue as defined with respect to R.sub.1 and R.sub.2, which may be the same as, or different from, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2, or a hydrocarbyloxy group of the formula OR.sub.4 in which R.sub.4 is an aliphatic, alicyclic or aromatic hydrocarbon residue having up to 10 carbon atoms,
and a novel di- or tri-substituted aluminum salts of carboxyl group-containing, pharmaceutically effective compounds.
