ABSTRACT:
A tree climbing suit10formed as a one-piece suit has a long-sleeved upper torso portion12and a lower torso portion22. The long-sleeved upper torso portion12has two long sleeves14for covering the arms and a shirt portion16for covering the chest region. The lower torso portion22covers the waist region and has a pair of pant legs24for covering the leg portion of the wearer2. The tree climbing suit10has a plurality of tree contacting gripping patches30, 32, 34, 36, 38sewn or otherwise affixed to the suit in locations for gripping a tree. The tree-gripping patches are located at least on the regions that are in direct contact with the tree when attempting to climb it. The tree-gripping patches30, 32, 34are respectively located at least on portions of the long-sleeves14, in the chest region on the shirt portion16, and the inseams25of the pant legs24preferably extending from pant leg24to pant leg24traversing across the crotch region of the inseam25.
