ABSTRACT:
A method for the treatment and/or prophylaxis of disorders associated with neuronal degeneration resulting from ischaemic events, in mammals, such as humans, which comprises administering to the mammal in need of such treatment an effective amount of a 5-HT1.sub.A agonist.
